The chapter has many committees offering diverse opportunities to members. Chapter members earn individual points for Founders' Awards by serving on committees, and the opportunity to share their skills and expertise with others to achieve committee goals. Members interested in serving are invited to contact the appropriate chair.

Advisory CommitteeThe Advisory Committee consists of Past Presidents who wish to continue their involvement with the chapter's activities. Members attends board meetings; the immediate Past President is the only voting member on the Board. Current members

Audit & Finance CommitteeThe Audit & Finance Committee reviews and reconciles the financial records prepared every other chapter year.  The committee issues a report on the status of the records to the President and the Board.  They also review any findings with the former and current Treasurer.

Founders Award CommitteeThe Founders Committee records Founders Award points earned by members during the chapter year toward individual merit awards, and identifies members who have qualified for the Follmer, Reeves, or Muncie awards during the preceding year. Chair job description  More info: Founders Award

Membership CommitteeThis committee recruits and welcomes new members to the chapter and is responsible for gathering the appropriate information and assembling, printing, and distributing the annual Membership Directory. Professional development, certification, and socialization also fall within this committee's responsibilities. Chair job description

Newsletter CommitteeThis committee publishes the chapter's member newsletter The Appalachian Trail, which keeps members informed of board and committee activities, new members, and key dates. The committee supports the chapter's educational mission through reports about the bimonthly meetings, regional/national heath care news, and other relevant educational issues. Chair job description

Program CommitteeThe Program Committee is responsible for organizing and presenting chapter educational programs. The committee selects program dates and sites, recommends content, schedules speakers, and prepares program announcements. The committee also maintains the Continuing Education Units (CEU's/CPE's) data for the chapter's educational sessions.  Chair job description

Sponsorship CommitteeThe Sponsorship Committee is responsible for obtaining sponsors to support the publication of the chapter membership directory and service plan, and The Appalachian Trail.  The committee utilizes Chapter Officers and Board members to aid in the recruitment and retention of sponsors.
